Artist Concept:
"Game, Set, and Match" combines the energy of sport with a deeper commentary on sustainability. Crafted from gifted golf balls encased in resin, a 3D lampshade, and an old neon flame light, the piece juxtaposes the precision and intensity of competitive sports with the necessity to rethink and repurpose. The neon flame symbolises both the drive to win and the environmental impact of our pursuits. This artwork calls for a balanced approach to passion and sustainability, urging a reimagining of how we can repurpose everyday items into meaningful expressions of art.
Junk and Disorderly Disclaimer:
I am in the business of Junk, old unused items people are going to throw away. My joy as a recreator is to wave my magic shiny wand and transform them into something I am proud to send out my door. It must be said though, that there is nothing perfect in the old (sorry mum) - if you look closely, you are going to find rust, scratches or the odd ugly backside as I endeavour to do my best in a sustainable way. With upcycling, must come the understanding that these come to you flawed like the sediment in an old wine, or a tarnished old coin from years ago. Enjoy the old and celebrate our flaws, old or new! Thanks MSM.

Game Set and Match
My Shiny Perspective:
Transporting four mannequin legs in a shopping cart might have been a hilarious spectacle, but so was figuring out how to stack hundreds of gifted golf balls into this towering structure. A 3D lampshade given to me and an old neon flame light found their new purpose in this piece, combining with resin to create a playful yet poignant statement. This work isn’t just about the game—it’s about rethinking our 'wins' and how they can align with a more sustainable, meaningful impact. The 'match' here is between creativity and environmental consciousness, with the 'set' being all these unique materials brought together in a new light.
